SIDE EFFECTS is a commentary on the healthcare industry and the ongoing debate on medication for a "normal life". From discarded blisterpacks and other disposable items from the healthcare, Johanna creates jewellery and ornamentation for the body. 

Apocalypse Statement 

The world is in constant change. We fight wars, we fight pandemics and we deplete the earth of natural resources. With excess of trash, plastic in the ocean, chemicals and medication in our soil and our bodies, we humans affect our environment with everything we do. Anthropocene is our time, and there is always a SIDE EFFECT to whatever choice you make. THE APOCALYPSE could be the end, or it could be reset and a new start.
