Reflection is the examining consideration. What changes? And what role do I play in this process of change? Using the example of the Aral Sea in Central Asia and the Arctic, the transformation of natural spaces is presented. The increasing dehydration of the Aral Sea since 1960 and and the melting of Arctic ice represent one of the largest environmental catastrophes and one of the greatest challenges of our time. The representation of the transformation process by this objects raises doubts about its durability and thus symbolizes the reality of a deterministic process that is difficult to stop. Methodically, the works are based on images that document this process of change that has not yet been completed.
