Contemporary jewellery emphasizes on the body, in which the body is considered as the context. I have designed the "Honorable Woman" necklace inspired by a kind of Iranian Islamic Chador and also the scarf of Madonna in Renaissance paintings. In this work, I have tried to reduce and increase the body's possibilities by thinking about the extension of the body and contemporary jewellery ‘s definition in my mind. This necklace can cover the whole body or wear as a normal necklace
The golden locking chains and fabric pendant allow choose between two style of wearing, with two different meanings and functions. Even when the necklace is worn as a covering object, it is also a necklace; a necklace with a pendant that is larger than the body and can cover the whole body.
