My work, "Home Sweet Home"consists of 90 altered brass keys hanging loosely from 90 strings making them something between necklaces and objects. The Danish government’s lack of will to help poor and distressed people in the need for a safe home makes me naucious and ashamed. At the same time I feel powerless so speaking my mind through art is my – though privileged – way of trying to change a tiny tiny something. In this case I am displaying a wellknown yet altered symbol which more fortunate people not only relate to but – presumably - take for granted.
