Ballast, Silver, Brass
Making a fist can oftentimes be the first signs of expressing anger, but the ring speaks for this suppressed emotion. The artist is originally from Hong Kong and made this piece in response to the conflicting views of foreign aid, democracy, and increasingly tactical and passive ways protesters needed to demonstrate their frustration.
Apocalypse Statement
The work looks at some human tendencies to be passive aggressive and allowing objects to be the voice for uncomfortableness.
