"Signs of time" is a work series of videos and photos which question the term and concept of jewellery. What is jewellery and how does it impinge to our body? The videos with the names ?15 minutes and 19 seconds: mark of a necklace?, ?30 minutes and 43 seconds: mark of a ring? and ?27 minutes and 51 seconds: mark of a clock? treat the theme of the visibility of the jewellery also when it is not worn. Through the medium of video I tried to make the time a jewellery mark remain visible on our body visible. I wanted to show with this work, that jewellery exists long time after removing the piece, because of its marks it leave on our body till its fading but also in the imagination of wearing it in our minds.
